Bienvenidos al tercer mundo!!

After 16 hours of travelling and many frightening noises from Borja, we arrived to Buenos Aires. Our first new friend Guillermo was made in this plane. He gave us our first great phrase of the trip: ¨ Bienvenidos al tercer mundo ¨ - welcome to the third world.

In customs we were really frightened because we thought we would have problems getting in. During the queue we were pretty nervious thinking about the probability of going back to Spain. Fortunately, our fake ticket did the trick even if afterwords we´ve realized the date was wrong.

Finally we have started our trip!!! Finally we´ ve arrived to Buenos Aires!!!

From Buenos Aires, due to the fact that Borja´s friend, Nacho, will invite us for a great free meal on Saturday, we have taken the buque bus (ferry) to Uruguay. A small city called Colonia del Sacramento has been our first real destination due to our tireness and our lack of interest of following to Montevideo.

The old part of Colonia is included in the world´s UNESCO patrimony. It has lots of colonial houses, colourful squares and sea food restaurants (that we did not go to because I am a vegetarian). ("aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggg" Borja is saying). One of the most beautiful sights where we took pictures, the lighthouse has been great inspiration to us and from where we will be able to see the brown Mar de Plata.

That´s all folks!! Tomorrow we will tell you more things and better. But now it is time to go to bed and try to overcome our jet lag sickness.
